Bought this product to protect a mattress for an autistic adult. Looked great on the mattress but after a couple of weeks came apart at the seams and ripped. Don't buy this if the person in the bed is active!

Look, my kid is a bed wetter. This protects the mattress from the worst of it, and it's not uncomfortable under sheets. The plastic is just the right amount of thick. Seems pretty durable so far, and it fits well so it doesn't shift a lot. It's worked well, and I'll buy the same thing if anything happens to it.

Talked to a sales rep who stated that 6 gauge was the same as 6 ml. Wrong!!! It is heavier than the cheap stuff that is out there, but it is not as thick as the 6 ml one that we had previoulsy bought.

Bought this for the occasional accident from my 5 year old. It's perfect, not too think, zipped up to protect the whole bed (so great for dust mite allergies). I will buy again for other beds.
