Blancho Bedding - Luxurious Down Alternative Comforter 300GSM Piped Edging

Blancho Bedding - Luxurious Down Alternative Comforter 300GSM Piped EdgingVery happy with the quality and price of the Down Alternative comforter. I live in NY and the nights get cold, this comforter has held up to the test so far!!

I got this FAST, within 3 days! It is warm, nice 40oz fill(most twin comforters are only 30oz fill) Good twin dimentions for my duvet cover and warm! It's nice to get good quality for a good price. Thank you Blancho~!

There's nothing particularly amazing or 'luxurious' about this item it's just a bunch of polyester inside a cotton cover. Hard to get excited about that. bucks seems a bit steep for what it actually is. There are cheaper alternatives out there.

On the other hand, the quality is decent the sewing quality is fine, the materials seem fine, and it has not fallen to bits. It keeps me warm but not too warm (which I hate).

What would be nice is if Blancho sold some inexpensive covers that fit this exact comforter. They all seem to be slightly different sizes, and getting sizes to match is a pain.

This comforter delivers. It's lightweight which helps because my duvet cover is so heavy. It's fluffy but the fluff stays in place. There was some loose material when I unpacked and shook it out but it's not leaving and fuzzies after 2 weeks. A good deal at this price.

Also, the king-size is more than enough on a queen bed. Generous sizing unlike other brands.

Have you found lately that bedding is just not where you put it when you went to sleep? You awaken frozen because it had slid to the side or foot off the bed completely sometimes. THIS ONE DOESN'T DO THAT. Probably because its 300TC not the more costly and yes smoother-so-they-run like satin, higher thread count bedding. I thought it was the thing to do, have the highest TC possible. Gorgeous to look at, lovely to touch but I've had enough. They're heavy and because yes its silkier they move all over the place no matter how you tuck. Tighter threads also mean your sweat stays under the cover with you and who wants that?

Blancho arrived wrapped in the typical linen cute briefcase like plastic bag BUT the surprise was it was sealed in yet another layer of cellophane. So Clean smelling when I pulled it out it was as if it just left sunshine outdoor line drying. Doesn't have even a spec of factory scent or warehouse shelf dust.

Where I place it, is where I find it when I awaken.

Its light (no painful foot weights) so not for cold rooms or temperatures but pairs well with other linen and now my bamboo throw is also where I put it when I awaken.

The other issue with Fill... Seems No matter what kind of baffling you select the fill leaves the center area and lives forever in the recesses of the edges of the comforter. The foot and sideboards of your bed are warm but not you! Once fill moves like that its flat as a flounder in the middle leaving you covered with only two layers of sheeting (at best). It will take time before I can say whether Blancho fill gets an A for not doing that. I'll update in months to come.

FULL SIZE... its thrilling to find a manufacturer making a true FULL SIZE collection and not combo Queen/Fulls sizes which are sloppy and a huge waste of weight and fabric on a full size bed. THANK YOU BLANCHO.

Looking fwd to buying their Brightly colored sheets with the 10% off coupon the order came with. Even their item label is Colorful and Cheerful. I won't be tearing it off.
