The quality of the mattress is great. Very soft on top, but supportive underneath,comfortable with medium support, and the ticking was beautiful. My rating reflects the product, which is really nice. The lack of the 5 stars was related to delivery experience.

I needed a new bed for my guest room. This mattress set fit the bill. I also purchased a great frame along with the set. When I finished the room, the bed is a stand out and just perfect. I have found that using Amazon for almost all my on line purchases saves a lot of time and problems with deliveries, cost and worry. It always comes on time and is great. Plus you can return it with no real problem if you are not satisfied. I Love Amazon.

The bed arrived in perfect condition. It is very firm, so if you're looking for a soft bed, this isn't the bed for you. We love it. It's very comfortable, and we enjoy a great night's sleep.

The bed was poorly shipped. It wasn't shipped in a box but rather wrapped in cardboard and taped. The cardboard had a large tear in it. The bed did arrive on time however. The mattress had a lot of strings hanging off of it that I had to cut. The bed is very firm as well. If you're looking for a cloud to sleep on this isn't it.

I did not read the reviews and I should have. This bed is like sleeping on a rock. I am really not even sure why they call it a pillowtop mattress as the "pillow" portion is basically empty fabric. I had to buy an additional mattress pad just to make it comfy...
