I have been using this duvet for about 3 weeks now. It is OK. It's a nice color. It will last. It is durable. It is well made. It just is not what I think that 1200 thread count would be like. It is more like 300 thread count in my experience. I have other sheets that were labeled as 800 thread count that are much much smoother and softer. On the other hand I did spill orange juice on these, wiped it off right away and there is absolutely no mark on it. SO the biggest disappointment is the deceptive description, the product is of decent quality.
How often do you get perfect, personal, customer service like this? I just can't express how accommodating this company was. They not only resolved the issue to my complete satisfaction, but I felt that they were completely committed to being the best possible company they could be. The problem was my fault, too. I misread the size of the item I ordered. I heard back from them on a Sunday! I also want to mention that the Italian Duvet Cover Set I ordered was worth every penny and incredibly beautiful. I will definitely be using this company again, and if I could have given them 6 stars I would have.

Shipment came in time for Christmas, and it's so soft! I don't doubt this is 1200 thread count. It feels like 5 star bedding from a top luxury hotel. The price cannot be beaten, this was truly an amazing deal!

I received my package quickly and in perfect condition. While it is advertised as 1200, it feels more like 400 to 600 TC to me. It appear to be at least 2 ply, so they are not technically lying. Since sheets are not like toilet paper, 2 ply is not necessarily better. After I received the sheets, I read up on this. It seems that while there may technically there are 1200 threads per square inch, it is because they twist 2 or more threads. So the material is not necessarily finer. At the same time for the price, I did not expect this to be truly 1200 TC. The sheets are still good quality for the price, although I did notice some thread coming loose on the pillow covers (which I didn't really need anyway). There sheets themselves seem very strong and sturdy, and relatively soft. So I'm still good with it.

The duvet is beautiful. It has a patterned texture to it (small diamonds that reflect the light). The color is a bit creamier than it looks in the picture. I have never felt sheets or a duvet that were 1200 TC so I can't say for sure if these are the real deal but they are very soft. The seller was also wonderful to work with.
