Luna Lullaby Bosom Baby Nursing Pillow Slip Cover

I just got these blankets & DVD combo today, and I just swaddled the heck out of my son. He is wrapped so tight, his little arms can't move AT ALL.

I've had this kid for like three weeks, and I've been trying and failing to swaddle him in the standard receiving blankets. Problem is, they're all 1) too small, and 2) not stretchy enough. I defy anybody to get a decent swaddle going when you can't even wrap that last tail around the baby and tuck it in. I know some parents advocate staples, but I AM NOT ONE OF THEM.

THESE blankets, on the other hand, are 1) HUGE 2) lightweight & stretchy, and 3) have a DVD with this KILLER swaddle technique. They demo two different ones on there, but you really owe it to yourself (and your baby) to put the extra five minutes in to learning technique #1.

Do bear in mind that these blankets are for swaddling, which means "pinning baby arms." They are not for keeping warm. You should not expect your baby to be winter-ready after you wrap it in one of these, because if you do, then you will be endangering your baby by bringing it out into the freezing cold wearing almost nothing.

However, when it comes to pinning baby arms, HOLY COW! These things are AWESOME.

I live in where it's hot, moist & no air conditioning! My baby needs to be swaddled to fall asleep for daytime naps. These are the lightest high quality blankets I've found. They are the only ones I've been able to use to swaddle him in. They're similar to aden & anais blankets, but slightly thinner. Not quite as soft either, but that could be just because they're thinner. The only reason I didn't give these blankets 5 stars like I did aden & anais, is because of the designs. Cute, but not super adorable. Would be excellent if there were better prints!

I just discovered these blankets and had to buy 3 more. Everyone with a baby should buy these blankets. These are so much better than any receiving blankets I've used before. They are really big so it's really easy to keep your baby wrapped up especially if your baby likes to be swaddled. They are so light that they are perfect or hot weather. My daughter just loves to have these to grab on to.

I was introduced to these blankets by my Doula, she gave a set to me as a gift. The blankets are cotton muslin, which makes them light and breathable perfect for warm weather when you need a blanket to help shade during the day and actual warmth in the evening. The blankets are larger than normal baby blankets, so you can fold them in half or in quarters and still use them for baby. I've used them to keep the baby warm, to shade the baby on really sunny days, as a light cover when it's warmish but baby still sleeps better with a cover to hold.

I love retro designs and the little space ships and graphics in this set grabbed me!

These are the best swaddle blankets EVER! I received a bunch of different types of blankets from cotton to flannel. These are the most breathable and the best size and weight. They get softer every time you wash them. I use them to swaddle as well as a blanket over the stroller. My son is almost 4 months old and I can see using these for years. Definitely worth the price.
