This was a huge waste of money. The first thing buyers should be aware of is that the pillow shown in the ad is NOT the one you will receive. It is about the size of a travel pillow. It swims inside a standard-size pillow case because it is so small. Secondly, I purchased this within the last month and it is already stretched out enough that it is unusable. Bottom line: Too small and doesn't hold up under normal nightly sleeping. Sobakawa pillow=failThis was a huge waste of money. Usually I am more careful about things and research them online first, but I thought who could go wrong with a cloud pillow? First of all they put it in this huge box, but it is tiny. It was less than half the size of my regular pillow. I decided to give it a try anyway. Well, once your head settles into the pillow, it literally feels like you are resting your head on a rock. SO uncomfortable! I couldn't stand to use it for 5 minutes. And I tried, I really tried to get used to it. It was so awful, I had to get my old pillow back. Too bad I had already thrown the packaging out so now I can't return it. I guess it is going to go in my daughter's toy box.Buy Natures Pillow Sobakawa Cloud Pillow Now
I got this at Bed, Bath & Beyond, because I wanted to try them out and you can't do that on Amazon. Anyway...I got two of them, and they are just awful. It's like trying to sleep on a miniature beanbag chair--you mush the pillow into the shape you want--and it immediately falls into another shape. The small micro-beads also have a strong plastic smell--and since the product is made in China, I'm thinking...great--this is full of dioxins or some other such toxic substance that I'm going to be breathing in all night. Finally, the pillow comes with a polyester cover, and I prefer cotton as do most other people, I think, and a regular pillow slip is way too big for it. Go for a buckwheat pillow--it's a natural product and you can get them with a cotton cover.Read Best Reviews of Natures Pillow Sobakawa Cloud Pillow Here
I bought this pillow because of the name made me think of softness. I always am on the hunt for a good pillow. I have tried all types of pillows which all end up in the guest room. This pillow will not even make it there because of the following:
1. After a while it smells. You cannot wash it. You can wash the polyester "pillow case" that comes with it. It that has an annoying zipper. Drool, sweat and hair oil make it the stinkiest pillow ever. I tried fabric freshener once and it smelled worse. I have a cotton pillow case on top of the polyester case too. It is way to large because the pillow is much smaller than a standard case.
2. Every time you breathe, the beads inside move and you hear them rustling around.
3. My pillow is 1/3 the size it once was. I have no idea where it all went. It is now toddler size.
When my new king size MyPillow.com pillow shows up, I am going to make bean bags out of what is left of this stinker. I made a video to show what it's like.I thought I was ordering a standard size pillow and what I got was half the size! I don't know how they can call it a pillow
