I love this comforter set. The plaid dust ruffle and plaid Euro pillow shams (sold separately) are the perfect accents for the floral-print comforter and shams (included with the set). It has the right amount of country-appeal, but with a little hint of elegance. The comforter is very thick and thus, very warm. I wished that Amazon also sold matching plaid curtains, but I later found some on a different website (which didn't even sale comforter sets)!

The comforter was beautiful with vivid colors and looked great with the plaid bedskirt. However, the queen size comforter was so large it almost looked like a bedspread. And the pillow shams for the queen set were not large enough. You will definitely need to buy the Euro Shams to get a plush look. This comforter is beautiful and warm. For the first year we had no issues with it. After the first year, however, the batting inside began to slide to the edges and corners. The corners are particularly bad with very large clumps of batting in each of them. The clumps are probably 8 inches in diameter. It appears that either the batting is of poor quality or there is insufficient quilting to keep it in place. Very inpressed with the Rose Tree Summerton Comforter Set. Excellent quality fabric and sturdy construction. We have purchased Ralph Lauren comforter sets in the past. In our opinion, the Rose Tree product is a better choice and available at a lower cost. Great value!Save 3% Off
