When I saw this on Amazon I was imediately drawn to it. All "my" favorite colors in a whimsical pattern .I was not disappointed by the quality of this pretty addition to my home. If they had sheets I would buy them
also.I too have been drawn to these delightful colors and patterns. However, only the cotton itself is certified by the Organic Exchange and the fill includes recycled fibers as well as organic. The bedding is manufactured in China. Amy Butler Design and Welspun who makes it for them have little knowledge about their product. It took about 4 days and a dozen emails and phone calls to find out the little info I did. Organic Exchange has no regulations on the finishing of the product so it is very possible that dangerous sizing chemicals, fire retardants and formaldehyde have been used. Welspun is contacting China to try to find out as per my inquiry. The only additional green claim I've found so far is that low-impact dyes are used, but have received no verification of that. If you want truly organic products that are certified from field to store, look for GOTS certification-Global Organic Trade Standard. This bedding does not have it.
