Chezmoi Collection 7-Piece Burgundy Ivory Quilted Comforter Set, Bed-in-a-Bag for Queen Size Bedding

I wasn't sure what to expect as far as fabric texture goes in this set, but the fabric is a microfiber, slightly silky to the touch without any sheen. The main red color is a true cool (no orange) blood red color, with 2 burgundy accent strips on the comforter. It's lighter in shade than it appears in the stock image, but still very nice. The white stitching/quilting pattern visually pops off the red nicely without it being a busy pattern, so this set would go well with any patterned pieces you might already have in the room.

The comforter is lightly stuffed, so it lays mostly flat. The pillows are stuffed evenly (which is rare for a set this inexpensive!), and appear to be sewn well and firmly. Just toss the set in the dryer for a few minutes to relax the packaging creases, and you're good to go!

This comforter set met our needs well. The comforter is soft but not too heavy or too light, so we can use it year-round if we choose. The red color is a dark red (one reviewer stated blood red and I would agree). The white part of the comforter has designs on the bottom, but is plain on the top (above the red stripe). I didn't realize this when I bought it. Quality is pretty good, with some white stitching in the red parts of the comforter. I would rate this about a 7 or 8 out of 10, which is pretty high in my book, especially for the price I paid. Overall, my wife and I were satisfied with our purchase!

The colors, textures, and embroidery of this set looked impressive when it arrived. I was excited about it. But after the very first cleaning, the colors ran and the red stained the white. After only about a dozen times of laying on the comforter, one of the top stitchings came undone right in the obvious middle.

If you stick it on a bed that never gets used, it will look great. Otherwise, put your money into something else.

But looks very cheap, once it finally arrived. I bought this for my Mom for Christmas, she likes it, & it does have charm, but it's not as nice and pretty as pictured. Colors are exactly as pictured, it's the threading that appears so cheaply done.
