This topper is exactly what I was looking for. I previously had a 4 inch cotton pad that covered my bed which over the years shrunk to only 2 inches. It has only been one night and it is much more comfortable then the cotton. You sink in the topper just enough to make you feel cozy and relaxed. I placed the topper on a memory foam bed and I don't feel any pressure when laying on my side. Although I need to figure out a way to keep it from sliding around on the bed

I put this on top of a cheap Walmart memory foam mattress and it made a big difference. I re-fluff it about one a week by taking off the sheet and giving it a good shake and so far that's all that's needed. It's great to sleep through the night.

It is comfortable and I've had it for about 3 weeks. There is a slight smell that comes thru the pad, sheets and onto my pajamas. It is not noticeable so much when sleeping but transfers to my bed clothes. For the price, this topper is not as plush as I had hoped and I certainly never anticipated the slight odor.
