All Season Down Alternative Mattress Topper, White

I bought this to place on top of a very firm sprint mattress. The firm mattress was hurting my hip bones (side-sleeper) and back and we were using a memory foam topper before but it got too soft. I've been sleeping on this for about two weeks now and like it a lot! It is fluffy, but your butt doesn't sink like when I was using the 3-inch memory foam topper. I like the support of my firm mattress and this topper makes it perfect. I would highly recommend this topper for anyone who likes firm mattresses but don't like the feeling of bones on concrete. This acts as a good buffer.

We bought both a queen and a king size. Both fit appropriately. It should be noted though, that there is not a band or skirt that holds the down topper onto the mattress. This disappointed me, but the fitted sheet seems to hold in place just fine. We've had ours for about a month now. Most mornings I just give a little tug at the edge to make sure it's still in place, although it really hasn't shifted much,if at all. We haven't washed it yet to see how it stands up, and I will be curious about that.

I was totally amazed at the thickness of the down! You literally feel as though you sink into the down. We have a pillow top mattress and our old down topper was just about non-existent by the time we bought this. So it was a significant change to feel such thick down. It did take a couple nights to get used to it at first it felt as if I couldn't move much at night for being surrounded by so much softness. But now, wow, wouldn't want to sleep without it. Very cushy and snuggly.

We have a cat who now sleeps in the center of the bed. When she gets up, there's a little crater where she's been. She'll go outside for a few hours and then right back to "her spot". A little pull and tug at the edge of the topper, and the feathers fluff back to full cloud like capacity. We joke that she's slept in our bed more than we have.

Our son, in the queen size, feels the same. It's unanamous that we all love this topper. I gave it only 4 stars due to not having a strap or skirt to attach to the mattress. I hope to update once we wash it and test for durability.

I visit my mom a couple of times a year to provide care, and the guest room bed mattress is ancient, stiff and generally provided a miserable night's sleep. I bought this topper to make life more comfortable and it has really done the job! I sleep comfortably, wake more rested, and therefore am a better daughter-caregiver!

I can't say it's like sleeping on a cloud because I've experienced better. It does add some softness to an overly firm bed so I'll keep it and probably add memory foam eventually.

You just have to be sure to fluff this topper everyday because after lying on it all night, there are some dead spots where there's no fill between you and the mattress.
