First let me say this seller is AWESOME! Needed this pillow for my daughter who is leaving for college very soon and Wayfair got it out to me in record time, not the usual 2-3 weeks processing, followed by shipping time, it normally takes. Super fast response to my emails. Will purchase from again!Yes, it's a lot of money for such a small pillow. But so worth it!
I 'flattened' it out a bit and measured 15" long, 11" wide, 4.5" high. Approximately. So yes, it's a small pillow. But I knew that. I wanted a good quality down pillow.
My 19 year old already has headaches and neck problems from sleeping on her stomach. The doctor said to 'get her off her stomach', but try getting a teenage girl who's slept on her stomach 19 years to do that! Barring that, he said to get her a good quality 'down' pillow that would at least allow her head and neck to not be so high/arched up in the air. So the money is worth it to me.
She doesn't really "roll" in the night, she will just move her face only from left to right, so a larger pillow is not necessary. She is happy with the size of this one.
The pillow is super soft. It is over-stuffed so although it sinks down when you put your head on it, it only sinks to about 2 inches high. I don't know. Maybe it would be better if it would sink to 1 inch high, but she's happy with it. And if she's happy, she'll use it. How can I really complain about a pillow that has a good amount of down in it!!??
The case is soft, tightly woven, of great quality and finished with a small satin piping all the way around. No frays or loose threads. Very nice.
Would highly recommend.
