DMI Cervical Rest Pillow

just wanted to let people know that this has been great for my herniated cervical disc (c5-c6) and i'd definitely recommend trying it. i'd tried about 6 or 7 pillows before this one, orthopedic and otherwise, and had just prior resorted to sleeping on a stuffed beaver (not the real kind, the toy kind) because it was the only thing that lessened the pain i woke with in the morning. this pillow has helped me get to a point where i am not in pain when i wake up at all. the cute little rosebuds don't hurt either...

I've slept on this for 2 nights and am NOT disappointed. A little back ground about 30 years ago, I was in a very bad car accident and have had to sleep on a cervical, cylindrical, pillow ever since. I have lost count how many I have bought, most were fine, some too hard or not enough support. Or were fine for a few months, then sank in the center, necessitating another purchase. But it was something that I HAD to have, or would wake up with a headache, if slept on a plain pillow without neck support. Now, since I just got this, I don't know how it will hold up, but will absolutely add to my review in about 6 months to let you know. But for now, it is wonderful! Not too hard or soft, for me. Everyone has their own 'ideal' support, this one is perfect for me. It came with a shaped pillowcase, with tiny blue rosebuds on it, I could care less about the pattern, but it's not 'loud' and won't clash with your linens. As long as I have the support and comfort I need, it doesn't matter to me and this is the best cervical pillow I have ever slept on. I am more than pleased with the pillow, and the price I have paid more for less. If you have a neck issue, I think your chance of finding comfort with this pillow, is very high. Oh, and forgot to say, I am a side sleeper that had rotator cuff surgery 6 months ago and have had a hard time getting comfortable on my side, this pillow has helped that a lot. I am able to sleep on that side again, with very little pain to the shoulder. Needless to say, it gets '5 stars' from me and I am tickled pink with it. Hope this helps you in your decision.

I really wanted this pillow to work & I thought it would due to the positive reviews. My neck seems to hurt less in the morning when I have something to support my neck while I sleep so I thought this would be perfect. I suffer from chronic neck pain from office work at a computer all day, poor posture, etc. The pillow was extremely comfortable which surprised me. Considering the shape I was a little concerned I wouldn't be able to get comfortable. Unfortunately, once morning arrived, my neck was killing me. I think I need firmer support. This pillow was just too soft.

I have back and neck problems and need a supportive pillow to help with proper spinal alignment and this pillow easily fits the bill. It is well made, and firmly stuffed, washable, and comes with a shaped pillow case. I still insert the pillow inside the shaped pillow case into my bed set cases with easy. I'm (was) firm to my massages and chiropractor at least once a week until I started shopping for pillows. I must've picked like 5, this one being one of the 5. I was doubting a pillow will fix my neck/back problem. Read many reviews so I decided to go with the cheapest one that had the highest rating in case I would be disappointed with the functionality and price. And I'm glad I did. I now sleep a lot better. I haven't visited my chiropractor in about 2 months and my neck feels great! It is true what other reviews say, you start noticing how good you sleep by the 4th night. My pillow hasn't lost it shape yet and the good thing about this pillow is that it comes with a cover. My husband tried it one night and he wants me to get him one. It is just perfect. I don't wake up with neck pains anymore. Now I see the power of pillows. I will definitely keep this one and buy another replacement once it looses it shape and probably look for another one to compare but for now, I'm happy.
