The pillow case is fine and looks like it does in the picture (a bit more shaded towards a brown than a eggplant). However the item shipped in a single package from India. I am fine with products being made overseas in some cases it is the only way to get a quality handmade product but I feel this was a waste. The package came in a fedex envelope and then there was another envelope inside that was used for shipping in India.
