
I bought the matching ottoman from another vendor, and it arrived via fed ex before the sofa/chaise were shipped. Once email notifying me of shipment arrived, I was unable to track the package through Amazon. After several days, I contacted seller (customer support was great), who told me a company called YSK was handling freight, and that I should already have been contacted by freight company to schedule a delivery date. Last monday (July 2) I called YSK and they said that chase/sofa would be delivered thursday, and "hadn't someone from scheduling already called me?" Then they transferred me to someone else, a dispatcher, who said that it would be delivered thursday, but they wouldn't know what time thursday until the morning of delivery and again, someone would contact me that morning. On thursday i had people on call to help me accept delivery (customers are supposed to unload from truck/bring in house themselves). Thursday morning I called YSK, only to find out that by delivery they meant they were delivering it 5 miles away to another freight company! They provided me with the name of the new freight company, who I called right away. That company looked it up and said that their computer indicated that i was going to drive 40 miles to YSK's dock and pick it up! Well, I got that straightened out. The new freight company said to call dispatcher friday to set up a delivery date. So, on friday I called the dispatcher, who informed me that they didn't have the product! Well, after I read him the email from YSK (I had signed up for delivery tracking updates via email), he was like, "Oh, yeah, we did get that yesterday." So he says he'll have it delivered monday, but someone will call us to let us know when on monday. Gee, where did I hear that before? He also said probably monday morning was when people in our town got deliveries. I call this morning, and he says it will be put on big truck and in afternoon. I ask him to confirm because my husband had already postponed his a.m. meeting to the p.m., and I had someone, again, on call to help us. THEN he really checks (the first time he was just guessing), and says it's on the small truck, and expect it between 2-4 p.m. At 4:30 p.m. I call the dispatcher again, and he finally gets me in touch with the driver. The driver was GREAT. He thought it would be 6 p.m., but when he told me where he was and what he was still delivering, I knew it would be later. He arrived at 7:30 p.m. He was more helpful than I could have hoped for, was very nice (despite having had a very long day, himself, with at least 25 deliveries from what the dispatcher had rambled off), and that put a positive note on this story. One of the boxes, the sofa box, had been seriously broken in shipment. Fortunately the only damage was to the fabric underliner of the sofa no cosmetic/visible damage. Amazon's delivery date range was through the 2nd. The seller correctly noted to allow an extra 4-5 days. I got mine on the 5th day after Amazon's delivery. Naturally, you get what you pay for, and in this case shipping is free! However, be aware that if you are not persistent, detailed, etc., you will probably NOT get this merchandise 4-5 days after the guaranteed delivery date, because the freight company/companies may wait until they have a light load day before sending your furniture out. And they DON'T contact you, so the boxes may just either be in limbo for some time, or show up in your driveway while you're at work.

I absolutely love my new sectional...It was a lot bigger than expected and it matches perfectly with the chair I purchased to match! It didnt take long to assemble...my boyfriend did it alone and it took like 30 mins. Its extremely comfortable which is a PLUS!! IFurniture did a great job responding to my emails throughout the process of purchasing this item. I seen a lot of bad reviews about the shipping but mine was smooth sailing by UPS Freight. Just want those interested to know that this couch is a steal for the price! A couch is something you don't usually buy online because you can't sit on it to see if you really like it or not. Based on reviews and the price, I decided to get it and I'm not disappointed at all. Easy to set up (it took more time to get it out of the box). There are a few complaints on the lack of firmness, but it's not as bad as they make it out to be. Who wants to sit on a stiff couch anyway? I took the advise of a reviewer and gave the delivery guy $40 for lunch to bring it into the house for me. The seller Furniture Creations and Shipper Saia get 4 stars. No issues there. The Darie Sectional from Coaster, was a let down on quality. It only gets 2 out of 5 stars. The images on Coasters site are not the same as far as the frame. I uploaded detailed images. The bonded leather they use is really stiff. The velcro is a poor way to attach. I guess for 700+ I expected better quality, especially since other bonded materials I have sat in from other vendors at the same price point are a lot softer. Did I mention the velcro, it is just sad. So much for Coaster Fine Furniture, not impressed at all.
