As it came, the pillow was big and fluffy, but the memory foam was very stiff, so it got taken out. The silk-cotton cover is very soft and good quality. However, my husband likes really flat and fluffy pillows (that we cannot not find anywhere), so I separated the two sides. After about two hours of un-sewing and then sewing back each side, my husband had two excellent pillows.
The outside down cover excellent. The foam core is hard. It reminds me of a float that is used in a pool. You squeeze it ant let go and it immediately springs back into place.
