I was expecting these to be amazingly soft and comfortable, but they are actually really quite thick and almost itchy when they first come out of the packaging. They feel almost like a mix between regular cotton and flannel. Now that I have washed them several times they are no longer itchy, but everything sticks to them (especially hair, it's gross) and they are starting to pill. My bed is only 14" deep and these don't even fit all the way around the edge, though thankfully they are not pulling off while I sleep.These are fine, especially if you wash them often. They aren't as nice as I thought they would be though.
