When this pillow first arrives, it's super firmlike hard as a rock. I personally like my pillows that way, but the pillow softens after just a few night's sleep. It really made a huge difference in the neck pain I had been having.

I bought this pillow because of the chronic neck pain I've been suffering from since my car accident over a year ago, and although it has helped somewhat, I was a little disappointed on the size. It is a bit smaller than a standard pillow and I find that after sleeping on it for a couple of hours, it flattens down quite a bit. I was tempted to return it for a better one but decided to keep it since I've heard they are all pretty much the same.
