I love my sham and bedspread. They have a really pretty vintage look and the price was unbeatable. Washing it shrinks it just enough to crinkle the fabric a bit and help it look less new.

I bought this for the grandkids room and it is fantastic. You can wash it and it fluffs right up. It looks as good as it did over a year ago with three kids and four cats using it on a regular basis

I had a heavy chenille bedspread when I was a girl and always loved the way it looked and felt. Now I have a guest room done with a beach theme and a double bed that needed a bedspread for spring through fall. After looking fruitlessly through stores and catalogs that offered lightweight and/or shoddily crafted bedspreads, I finally found this set. It's exactly what I was looking for: thick, tall tufts of chenille, densely woven fabric, a border along the top of the bed, lovely pattern and perfect fringed edges. It graces a deep mattress and boxspring and still manages to fall within an inch of the floor, even concealing the dust ruffle.

I followed the directions for washing and drying to the letter and it came out beautifully (minimal shrinkage), though the lint trap on the dryer needed to be emptied midway through the cycle. I have an extra-capacity top-loading washer, so it fit okay, but I think in the future I'll make a trip to the laundromat, just to use a larger machine.
