I now have 3 sets of 1000+ thread count sheets and this set, even after only 3 washes, is my favorite. Most of the high TC sheets tend to be sateen in my experience, and while it feels soft and great, they don't breath at all. This set doesn't have the sateen finish, so it's not quite as soft initially as my others have been, but it breaths and they are still reasonably soft. After another 20 or so washes, I'm sure they will be just perfect. I'll be getting other patterns of this same type.
The fitted sheet is baggy and the elastic is loose, so the sheet bunches up in the night. There are numerous "faded" spots on both the top and fitted sheets (they appear as lighter blotches)
The sheets are very thin (far too thin for a 1200 thread count)The hem is not 6 inches, but 4. They're soft enough, but not very high quality. Lesson learned.
