2090 Pillow-Soft Managerial Mid-Back Swivel/Tilt Chair, Mariner, Black Base

2090 Pillow-Soft Managerial Mid-Back Swivel/Tilt Chair, Mariner, Black Base
  • Tufted, gathered cushions with stain-resistant protection
  • Memory foam in seat cushion responds to body dynamics
  • Fiber fill in back with recess at the base to cradle the lumbar region
  • Fully upholstered outer back
  • Pneumatic seat height adjustment 16 3/4"- 21 1/4"

Chair delivered fully assembled. The chair is heavy office furniture grade and memory foam in the seat. I was searching for a chair with memory foam due to poor circulation in my legs and the memory foam relieves the pressure from the back of my legs. The chair is wide comfy accomodates my 250lb weight frame and comes with good back support. You cannot adjust the back it is stationary "no up and down" adjustment although you can tilt or set to stationary. The arm rests are not adjustible. The back of the chair reaches my shoulders not long enough to reach neck area. I am so happy I own a HON chair they are usually very expensive and I am lucky I found mine at this price! If you can afford a little bit more money get the one with the higher back.

Chairs are very individual. This one is not comfortable for me. I feel like I'm leaning forward all the time and would rather sink into than slide forward on a chair. I like car bucket seats and this one, in spite of the memory foam, just doesn't hold me in. I had a chair that was comfortable and cost $79 vs. this one, but the arms wore out within year. I keyed off of that when purchasing this Hon and the arms are really great. Good material, a little rubbery give, but no leather to wear off (like my old one did). If I could put these arms on my old chair I'd be set... I'm probably going to buy another chair, but will do it locally so I can sit in/on it first. Like test driving an automobile, you can't do it by reading reviews.
