Bladder and Prostate Friendly Chair Cushion - Size D for 175-225lbs

This is a great cushion for the bottom pelvic and back area. My only regret is that I didn't buy the larger size one. This one is getting slumpy fast. I think the one made for 200 lbs or heavier would hold up better. I ordered for my weight, so I would advise to order the next biggest one up. Hope this helps. I got this to relieve pressure on my prostate. It seesm to work well, although it's slightly uncomfortable. The center portion of the cushion is nice and soft, but the rest of it seems a bit too firm. The worst thing about it is that it slides around on the chair and is constantly out of position. It would have been a good idea to inlude a tie down strap in each corner to stop the sliding. No matter how good it may be, if it slides out of position it's useless.

The seller will take the cushion back if you don't like it, but only if you don't unwrap it. Of course I had to unwrap it to try it out. I'm sure the sliding would have been much worse with the plastic wrapper still on.

After rectal cancer surgery and radiation, my brother couldn't sit easily for more than a couple of minutes. I initially tried the 2 inch harder cushion, which works great in the car. This cushion is terrific, 3' and softer so he can spend a couple hours online with no problem. We had tried a different, more expensive type froma another company but the cut-out just didn't work. The BEST of this type of cushion!

I purchased this to see if it would help with prostrate problem. I removed the plastic and gave it a try. The channel running in the middle of the cushion works as advertised. I have not had problems with the cushion sliding around that others have mentioned. The cushion is hard and takes some getting used to. Like so many other medical items it is way over priced for what it is, and that's why the 4 star rating.
