Chezmoi Collection 7-Piece Luxury Solid Black Soft Velvet Comforter 90-Inch by 92-Inch Bed in a bag

When I opened this product I was IN LOVE! It was just what I wanted. Then Heartbreak. I had it on my bed for about 2 days when I noticed that it was shredding at the pinched seams. I don't even sleep with my comforters, I usually fold them back or take them off the bed to sleep so needless to say I was saddened. I called Amazon and they quickly replaced it and even expedited my shipping which was AWESOME!!! Then Heartbreak again! I had the new comforter on my bed about a week and the same thing happened. I was even extra careful not to over stretch the comforter or pull it too hard. I dont know if its just because of the fragile material (This is Faux velvet NOT real velvet) or if it was just made poorly.

I will be returning it all together. *sad sigh. I am just thankful Amazon is so easy and customer friendly about issues like this. I wouldn't go anywhere else after this experience. The product didnt live up to my expectations but Amazon made it all ok.

I wanted a change of pace in my bedroom, had brown sheets and bedspread for a few years now. I thought black would be a nice change, and would go well with the tan and rust paint.

The surprise was actual pillows in it. I am used to getting the pillow cases for the "decorative" pillows, but this came with two actual square small decorative pillows as well as the cylindrical one. Along with that is the skirt, the comforter, and two pillow cases.

Fortunately I had purchased a black sheet set already, since I'm using THOSE pillow cases I didn't like the feel of these on my face, and I didn't like the frill around the edges.

The comforter itself is alright not too thick and heavy, but I have an electric blanket for winter time anyway, so I didn't need something for heat. But it attracts EVERYTHING, and even out of the box I had a lot of white bits of stuff I had to clean up with a lint roller. This is one that will be tough to keep looking good due to the material. But it looks pretty good though, and for the price, you get what you pay for.

Well made though, no bad stitching, no loose threads. I have this on top of an electric blanket which helps hold it in place a bit, since otherwise it probably would've slid a bit too much on the satin sheets I have under it.

For the price, it's alright. Just make sure you keep a lint roller handy to pick up anything that may end up stuck to the surface.
