I recently bought the diamonds n dreams pillow COVER after shopping around for something cool and different. The price points of Homecentric are really good. Just compare Homecentric to the plain and ordinary mass produced "vanilla" looking COVERS on other sites (pottery barn, z gallery, crate & barrel, west elm) where pillow COVERS are $50-$100 each. If you are comparing Homecentric covers to pillows you would find for less with the filling included at Wal-mart or target, then yes these covers are pricey. If you want something mass produced that is cheap go to the super stores. If you want something unique that is hand made, these pillow covers are beautiful! P.s. the site states these are covers, you have to read the description and not make assumptions, then giving a seller a poor rating due to your error. This just bugs me when I see this happen.
Overall, they are very pretty and add a nice touch of sparkle to the living room, but I do have a few complaints:
(1) Fabric is too thin. If you intend to use the white one (I did) to recover an old pillow, you will probably see the design or color through the fabric unless you are putting another white pillow in. I covered an old red pillow, and the darker fabric inside the case makes the backing behind the design much more apparent. This pillow case should have been made with two layers of fabric to combat that problem.
(2) The stitching needs to be more secure and the zipper opening needs to be longer. I bought some other 18x18" pillow covers along with these, and it was much easier to slide the pillows inside of those. The zippered opening is simply not long enough to get a pillow in there without feeling like the pillow case is going to rip apart. On one of the pillow cases from this set, the seam actually did rip open at the end of the zipper. I sew, and it is pretty easy to tell that this vulnerable area was not reinforced as it should have been.
Overall I love the way they look, but if I had to do it again, I might shop around for something else.

I am writting this review to say that I do like the pillow CASE but I when looking at pillows, and when I typed in "decroative throw pillows" in the Amazon search bar, this what seemed like PILLOW popped up.I was immediately drawn to it. So when I ordered it, and for the price I payed for it, I thought it was an entire pillow. I got my package today and I was not happy. It was only the pillow cover. Maybe its my fault for not reading into it more, but I do not think that pillow cases should be in with the pillows. The pic itself shows an actual pillow! Now I have to figure out the dimentions of the case and order a pillow. So I am giving this a 2 star rating. Be careful when you shop people.
