Decorative Printed Floral and Bird Throw Pillow Cover 18" Blue

I bought two of these throw pillow covers to make my craft room/guest room seem a bit homier. I have a futon down there, and wanted to make it a bit more comfortable, so I bought these to go over some plain pillowforms I had laying around. The color is vibrant, and I love the design, but the fabric itself is very scratchy and stiff, even after a wash. It almost feels burlap-y in it's texture. Since they're decorative, it's not the end of the world, but I would have preferred something a bit more comfortable for lazy days when I want to curl up and knit. Currently I just cover it with a throw blanket before laying on it.
