I love feather/down pillow inserts, but it is tricky to find quality when looking for them. The description on the DownTown site was great, of course, but it's impossible to know until you actually have it in your hands. These inserts have feather/down-proof covers that are standing up to the test of wear and time AND THAT IS THE FIRST MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE OF FEATHER/DOWN INSERTS!! No feathers poking through, and no fluff over everything...VERY IMPORTANT! Ther second most important feature is the quantity and quality of the fill. DownTown's fill is about as good as it gets NO SHARP ENDS ON THE FEATHERS; NO CLUSTERS OF FILLING...AND THE AMOUNT OF FILLING IS AS CLOSE TO PERFECT AS IT GETS! If you like feather/down inserts, I highly recommend DownTown.

These inserts look nice on the couch inside the shams I purchased. They do not hold their shape well for everyday use...they really compact down when lying on them. They make a crinkley sound when lying on them too. But they do look good and for the money, I would purchase them again.

I did not realize how heavy and full this pillow insert would be. It fits our pillow case perfectly and was surprisingly FULL of down.
