Full Length Serenity Star Transitional Pillow

Full Length Serenity Star Transitional PillowI bought this pillow and now I don't sleep with out it. Like every pregnant woman, I had trouble getting comfortable and couldn't sleep. The first night I had this pillow I took off the case and have slept without it ever since. The other reviews are correct about it being itchy ($99?). It could also be a little longer. The way I've been sleeping with it though, it works. My husband also thinks it's pretty comfortable. It will be a good pillow to have even after baby is born. I would recommend this product for any mom to be who's having trouble sleeping.

I'm 7 months pregnant and can't believe I did without this pillow for so long. Why didn't I get it months ago? I usually sleep on my left side or back, but I found that I couldn't find a comfortable position and I wanted to keep rolling onto my back. I was shoving a pillow behind me, a pillow in front of my belly and one between my knees. When I wanted to roll over they all had to come out and be readjusted. Now, I just roll over wihtout waking up and I don't get up in the morning with back pain anymore. Yes, the pillow is large, but if you have a queen or king bed it should be fine. My only negative observations (and the only reasons I gave it 4 and not a solid 5 stars) are: 1) I wish it was a bit longer. I'm only 5'4", but I could use a few more inches to tuck between my knees or to rest my feet on. 2) It is a little hot (not too bad--not as bad as some other pillows I looked at). 3) It is a little hard to get the case back on after washing (don't see how this could be changed). I originally bought the pillow because I could take it apart and use it for nursing after the baby comes, but I can't imagine trying to sleep without it. We'll probably end up ordering another one!

My wife loves it. She complained how uncomfortable she was. After buying the pillow she was a lot happier.

Before I got pregnant I mainly slept on my back so when I got pregnant and tried to sleep on my side, I found it very difficult. Inevitably I would wake up in the middle of the night on my back. After looking at all different kinds of maternity pillows I settled on this one. I liked the fact that it could be used even after I had the baby as it can be taken apart and used as two bolsters and a nursing pillow. I have a queen sized bed and while it takes up more room than just me, my husband still has a nice sized space to sleep. I like the fact that I can sleep on my right or left side and I don't have to move the pillow. I also like the fact that when I try to lie on my back while I'm sleeping, the pillow supports me so I'm not flat on my back. I am very cozy and comfortable sleeping with this pillow. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I find that putting the pillow case back on after cleaning it is a pain, although I'm not sure how it could have been done any better. It would also have been nice if it came with individual pillow cases for when I want to use it as three different pillows.

I went through one pregnancy without this pillow & did not sleep! I bought this for my second pregnancy and slept comfortably the entire 9 months! It is a miracle! I have loaned it to several pregnant friends & they have had the same experience. Your spouse will be afraid when they first see it because it is huge but that is why it works!!!!! I tried it all before: several pillows, candy cane pillows, etc. The beauty of this pillow is that it allows you to move from side to side without having to spend 10 minutes rearranging your entire bed! You can prop your belly on the pillow and thread it through your legs! It is AWESOME!!!!!!
