He liked it and wants to sleep on it on the week ends.
Edit: After nearly six months, with regular washings (as he was doing potty training), the pillow changed a bit. But cloth is fine and still smooth and comfortableI allowed my daughter to select the Monkey Nap Mat in Pink. This is her second Nap Mat and compared to the one previously purchased for the same price it is thin, lacks padding, the pillow is stuffing and not an actual removable pillow you can wash(as needed.) Also the straps to close up/carry the Nap Mat are way too short. Our son attends a public school in NYC that has plastic sleeping mats for nap time. We've tried using small blankets and pillows for him to use on top of the mats but have often found them on the floor or lost in the cubbies. I was looking for an all-in-one napmat that could do the job and insure my sons skin would not end up on the school's plastic mat during his nap with all the shifting and turning. This mat was the answer! It's the perfect size for preK or Kinder. My son is about 42" tall and his feet stick out a little under the blanket but that doesn't concern me since the kids nap with their shoes on. The mat base itself is long enough to fit his whole body. The mat is well made and the attached top (cover) blanket is super soft and wide enough to wrap around him completely. He unrolled and rolled it back and found it very easy to store. It's definitely made to supplement a plastic mat. If it were placed on hardwood or another hard flooring it would not be comfortable. Since our school uses the plastic nap mats, this was perfect to set on top for both comfort and hygiene. We're so happy with our purchase.it is so cute, but after a few washings, it's already pilly (spelling?). it still is adorable, but i wish it was holding up better!
