Royal Hotel Collection Sara 7 Pieces Beige King/ Cal King Duvet Cover Set

I added this item to my Amazon wish list for Christmas and received it as a gift. It's been on my bed less than 5 months and the seams are ripping apart on the duvet. I would think the gold embroidered fabric would overlay on top the sage fabric, but they are three separate pieces sewn together without any type of reinforcement. The fabric is so thin that it has torn from the seems both on the top and the bottom of the gold fabric. It's too bad, because I really think it's beautiful, but now it's worthless after one wash and 5 months of use.

I have not opened the package yet but the printed price inside the packaging is $299 not the price advertised on Amazon.com. I like to save money but don't put fake prices online to make it appear that you are saving much more than you actually are. I may update after I open the package.
