These shams are beautiful, warm, and welcoming. They laundered great and are soft and warm to cuddle with. I bought them to be over-sized pillows for the living room couch and they have been completely dominated by my son who just loves to sit with them while watching TV or reading.
The classic pattern reminds me of the chenille bedspreads that my grandmother used. The standard sham is big enough to fit a deep gusseted pillow (full or queen size), but looks fine with standard full size pillows.
I ordered the Sage in a sham first, as I was not impressed with the quality of a different vendors chenille. This product is well made, and quite comfy! The standard sham is more than capable of handling any loft/fill of pillow you throw at it. The green color is true to the picture, so if you want a vibrant green this is not for you. The design is only on the front. Unlike other vendors, the solid back is SOFT and not a scratchy mess. I will be completing my set!
