MARRIKAS 300TC Egyptian Cotton PillowCase Pair (2) STANDARD BLACK STRIPE

These pillow cases are very soft with a slight stripe to them. I was happy that they where a very true black.

This review is for the Marrikas 300TC Egyptian Cotton PillowCase Pair (2) Standard Black Stripe item that I purchased on April 25, 2010.

I purchased this pillow case set to supplement the following queen size sheet set that is identical in appearance, but of a much higher, 1200 Egyptian Cotton thread count:

I chose to purchase this particular sheet set because it was to only serve to cover the second set of pillows that are under the top set of pillows, which are covered by the 1200 Egyptian Cotton thread count cases. It just made sense to me to save some money by purchasing basically the same pillow cases but of a cheaper price; especially because they were only for looks and therefore a higher thread count was not necessary.

However, these pillow cases are still very comfortable and I sometimes cannot exactly determine which pillow cases are of which thread count. I reflect not observing much of a difference in comfort with the 1200 Egyptian Cotton thread count in the detailed review in the second link I provided above.

These cases are of a contemporary style, and was what I was searching for. I could not find this style anywhere else; only from this brand/company that manufactures and designs this item.

I highly recommend that these pillow cases not only be purchased for style, but for comfort as well. In addition, if anyone is planning on purchasing these particular cases, I also recommend that they do so from this seller.

Love these pillowcases. They are sooo..soft. Very nice for a 300TC cotton item. Super fast shipping--got them in 1 day. Would highly recommend this product if you like a very soft place to lay your head when you sleep.

Not what I expected. Nowhere near what other reviews had to say. These cases are NOT soft or as good as higher priced ones.

I bought a much more expensive set and now I'm happy. However, for the price, the cheap ones are good enough for my grandkids when they sleep over. Should've known by the price that this item was too good to be true.
