I bought these sheets to replace my previous sheets that my dachshund chewed a giant hole in. They're going on about 6 months now, and I'm still satisfied with my purchase.
The deep-pockets work as advertised, and fit my Tempurpedic mattress nicely. The sheets are soft to the touch, and overall, have a very nice feel to them. I've washed these sheets a number of times now, and I see no signs of any fraying, or any other damage, for that matter.
At the end of the day (or night?) these are just sheets, so I don't know what else to say about them. They're comfortable, and have held up fine in 6 months of use. I'd have no qualms about purchasing these again should the need for replacement arise.I love the look and feel of these sheets. Not too thin or too think. They are super soft and true to the color. I purchased the taupe colored sheets and they are exactly the color I needed for my bedding. I had ordered taupe sheets from another web site and returned them because the color was way off...they were a light cream color and that's not what taupe should be. So if you're looking for a quality taupe colored sheet set, this is the one you want. Great communication and accommodation w/ the seller when I had a question. I will order from them again! Thanks!Perhaps I know little about bedding; however I was under the impression that 1200 TC would feel incredibly soft to the touch. Unfortunately it feels like I'm sleeping on sandpaper. I strongly encourage you to skip this purchase.I purchased this sheet set based on a similar purchase (from a different supplier) made a couple of years ago that I was extremely pleased with. However, this set is no comparison with the first. Although both claim to be 100% egyptian cotton, 1200 TC, this set is paper thin, actually see-through, and somewhat rough to the touch. I had these on a bed in a spare bedroom and didn't get the chance to try them for a couple months. Had a chance for a few nights recently, and wish I had tried them sooner, because they would have gone back. I love the color, but they won't stay in place on the mattress because of their extreme thinness, and are uncomfortable to sleep in. Buyer beware, there is a great variation in egyptian cotton bedding.I figured at the price I paid (approx $80) it was worth a shot to see if this was a good deal for such a high thread count at that price. At first impression, these sheets felt great the first night. But, I've concluded that it's not such a good deal given that they began to fray after just one wash!
I bought a set of 600 thread count sheets at Target for $60 that feel comparable to the touch and look just as good after a few washes as they did new. By comparison, even at half the thread count, the cheaper Target sheets were a much better value. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for". But I'm not sure I even got the value for what I paid in this case.
