I thought these would be plasticy and crunchy, but they ended up being very quiet and soft. Just make sure you wash them first.
I now realize I bought the wrong item. This pillow cover is too stiff for me. It makes a "crinkle-y" noise when I move around like I am sleeping with a paper bag under my head!
It seems to be made well the zipper is strong, no odor, seems are closed but it is not what I was looking for.I received it and immediately put it on my bed, and I have been bite free every since, It truly is a great product and I have reccomended it to my fAMILY WHEN AND IF THEY ARE INFESTED WITH THEM. I am very pleased to have bought this and I will be getting another set as back up!Bite-Free saying good-bye!By the way the price was right at Amazon.com which is where I got it!When I received them I was disappointed but after washing them I was much happier. It says on the package that washing them makes them softer and that is true. I first tried them on my pillows to make sure they fit before I washed them. The material felt very hard and rough. After washing they softened. It serves the purpose of a pillow protector and is breathable material which works great for feather/down pillows. $10 is not a bad investment to protect your favorite pillows.When i first got them they where stiff, but after washing them for the first time, they get softer and with some days of use u can't feel them. Will buy more in the future!
