It is not as soft as I would have liked but I also did not realize that I purchased the 300 TC instead of the 1000 TC. The color is very purple gray--exactly what I wanted! I washed it on gentle cycle and added a little softener. It came out a whole different duvet cover and kept its color very well. I would recommend this to any friend of mine :)Save 84% Off
