The sheets are a little rough, but otherwise I really like this bed in a bag. The comforter feels like a cotton blend and is very soft, but in a way that is particularly comfortable for the summer. The pictures show the color well, and the plaid is a nice contrast to the pattern. It's not enough to keep you warm in the winter without an extra blanket (mine is a Sun Yin USA Inc Microplush Queen Blanket, Chocolate to match) but perfect for all other seasons.
One quibble: the fitted sheet seems a little tight. Maybe my mattress isn't exactly a full-size, or maybe they are just less stretchy than most sheets, but it made putting them on the first time a little difficult.
This is a nice looking set. Upon receipt we washed the comforter in the gentle cycle in a front loader, and the sheets on warm prior to use. The comforter only has a few places where the batting is stitched, so it shifts a bit causing it to not lay entirely flat (and that is after only one wash). It is also 100% polyester and looks it. There are two shams in the full set and they are basically just pillow cases with one side having the print and the other side being brown with light blue writing. The sheets are really good looking but are not smooth, and even though they are cotton they have the texture of linen. My son't mattress is not considered deep being that it is about 7 inches thick but the fitted sheet barely fit, and the flat overhung each side by about 6 inches (certainly not enough to tuck the sides in). Still, I put them on my son's bed and the first night he laid his head on on the pillow he came to get me wanting to know where his other sheet set went because these were too rough. He even changed them himself (which has never happened!) Before you go thinking this is a case of "The Princess and the Pea" I can assure you my 9 year old isn't sleeping on 600 count egyptian cotton normally, making these just "seem" sub-par. We typically sleep on 200-300 count cotton sheets, nothing too fancy, and this set is a bit rough. It isn't horrible but it is pretty noticeable. There is no dust ruffle like many sets come with. So overall this did give my son's room a more mature look but for the money I don't think the value is there with this set. It is just okay and in the future I might just go someplace local so I can feel what I am buying.
