Wakefield 400-Thread-Count Pima Cotton Sheet Set

I wish I kept the packaging for these so that I could return them. The sheets seemed ok when I first took them out of the package for the price I was satisfied. I washed them before putting on the bed and within two weeks I noticed that the fitted sheet was pilling very badly. The pillowcases and flat sheet are ok, but I can feel the little bumps on the fitted sheet when I move around in bed at night. I have another set of sheets that went through heavy use over 3+ years and they don't have a single pill. The only reason why I purchased these was I wanted a set of plain white sheets... clearly, I'll have to buy another set in a matter of months and spend more $$$ for something longer lasting.

I am pretty disappointed in these sheets, and wish I could return them but I have washed/used them. The sheets are not as soft as I thought 400 TC would be, and started pilling terribly where my husband sleeps. Even my side becomes slightly rough after a few nights sleeping on them. The 400TC is nice and thick, a mid-weight sheet, but they become so rough it is uncomfortable to sleep on them.

A few years ago I bought 400 TC sheets at Walmart that I like better, for about the same price (maybe a few dollars cheaper.)

These sheets are very soft and lovely to sleep on. As with most 100% cotton sheets, they do wrinkle, but this does not bother me and is probably exacerbated by my tendency to leave them in the dryer too long. I'll be buying another set; you can't beat 400 thread-count sheets at this price! Also, other reviewers concerns about ship time were not an issue for me. I received them roughly a week after ordering.

These sheets pilled after the first time I washed them. I can't give a set of sheets a good score when that happens.

I would not recommend these if you want a good set of sheets.

I have been on the hunt for a soft set of sheets for about a year now and have been continually disappointed. These sheets were no exception. They pilled the first night after washing. They even felt a little rough when I pulled them out of the package. I have slept on Pima cotton sheets before and they were very soft. However, regardless of what the distributor claims, they do not seem to be Pima cotton. I am looking for a refund.
