67701E - Mid Rise Air Bed

67701E - Mid Rise Air BedI bought this air mattress for various usage. I liked the idea of a raised air mattress. Unfortunately there are two things that make this air mattress a bad one. The first is the built in "pillow". It's simply uncomfortable and unusable. Put your head on your pillow and look at the shape. It's like a valley between two hills. With this air mattress, the built in pillow is inflated to the max and is not soft but very firm. If you add your own pillow then your head is too high compared to the rest of the body. You'll wake up with neck pain.

The second thing is that the rest of this air mattress is made of canals or straight "tubes". Remember that the mattress will be inflated until it's firm. If it's not firm then there is no support. I had to add a 2 inch memory foam topper to make it a little bit more comfortable but I can still feel the "canals". Definitely not something I will recommend to anyone.

I haven't had anyone sleep on it yet, but I did inflate it recently and lay on it myself. I liked the firmness and all the space you get. Very well made, from what I can tell. I will have to give my guests a chance to respond before I say anymore on the subject.

My only problem is that it didn't come with an air pump. I had to find one on Craig's List if I didn't want to pay upwards of $75 dollars for a hand-pump one.
