Embrace Air Plus Lumbar Support

Embrace Air Plus Lumbar Support - BlackThe shape and adjustability of this support are great. It's easy to dial it in to your own body geometry. Mine leaks a bit of air, but it's no problem to pump it up as needed. The problem with this product stems from the strap used to secure it to your chair/car-seat. It's poorly executed. If you're willing to do some work to improve this aspect (additional straps, velcro, etc.), I'd recommend it. Otherwise, be prepared to have to position it every time you sit down.

This, like all products, is not perfect, but I have given it 5 stars for these reasons: 1) It works and my back feels a lot better, 2) It is what the secretary at my physical therapist's office uses, which he bought for her and recommended to me. Problems: yes, as other reviewers noted, it slides around, doesn't fit all chairs, etc.... but I just carry a pillow with me, stuff it behind the support, and strap the whole thing in. Keep in mind, as a guitar instructor I stand for 15mins to 1/2 hr, then sit; changing on and off while using the embrace air has made a huge difference.

I found this cumbersume to use in my car, even with my car seat all the way back I felt it put me too far forward, it also allowed me to rock side to side when driving on curvy roads as it did not fit in the bucket type seats due to its stiff structure. Also, it was difficult to get it to stay in a comfortable position on the seat with just the strap holding it there. The adjustable lumbar and its inflation part worked well but it just did not fit snug against the car seat. Too dangerous rocking side to side rather than snuggled into the seat. My seat has a lumbar support and though not sufficient at least I have the seat "wings" supports on left and right side to keep me from rocking side to side. I don't use this product any more.
