This body pillow was a gift to my husband, who was recently in a head-on truck collision, and, thanks to wearing a seat belt, only suffered bruises in the chest area. His bruised sternum was extremely painful and any pressure on the area increased his discomfort, yet he needed support for arms and legs when he was lying on his side. The pillow arrived today (about two weeks after his accident), and he reports that he is extremely pleased with the soft support provided by the pillow. He also likes the hypoallergenic aspect since coughing is still very painful. His only disappointment is that the young woman pictured in the literature accompanying the pillow did not, herself, arrive with the pillow when it was shipped from Amazon.Nonetheless, we would highly recommend this pillow to anyone.
This pillow is for my 19 year old daughter. And I just left it with her at her college apartment, five hours from home. So I have to wait to hear from her about it's performance.
The pillow feels really 'stuffed', yet soft. And it's very heavy for a pillow. Had a bit of a time getting it into a case of the same dimensions. It'swell sewn with no frays or threads all over it. Seems like it will last a long time. Not "lumpy" feeling. Doesn't feel like the stuffing will "separate" into the two ends of the pillow. Of course, I don't know that. Just have a feeling it won't. It didn't start to separate when it was folded and then removed from the shipping box and plastic sleeve. It seems A LOT nicer than those body pillows I had years ago. More plush.

My daughter said the pillow was "fine". She "slings her leg over it now and then". She said it's "soft" but not overly "mushy". That's about all the communication I'm gonna get from a teenager.
By the way...mine DID NOT come with any pillow/outer covering.
Would recommend this pillow. But again, I don't sleep on it every night.This is a well-stuffed body pillow. I really like it. I had to buy a cover for it separately. Since the pillow was so full, I worried that the case I purchased on Amazon might not fit. But, it did and I am happy with my purchase.I was looking for a body pillow to take to the hospital when I was having back surgery. I wanted a firm pillow to put behind me when I lay on my side. This pillow is wonderfully firm, not a "bag of air" like many of the ones I saw in retail stores. The only complaint I have is that no matter what my husband and I did to move the stuffing around so that the pillow did not want to fold in half as it was shipped, it still tended to flop when you picked it up. (Unfortunately I cannot remember if the Manufacturer or Amazon was responsible for it being folded.) I picked up some of the "bags of air" in stores and they did not flop like this one did. I realize that it would have needed a considerably larger box to ship it flat, and perhaps the shipping would have been higher. Because the pillow was perfect in every other way, I feel frustrated because I would gladly have paid more for shipping to have had a pillow that was not folded. I gave it to a neighbor who loves it.Reading the three other reviews and because of the price, I thought I had a winner here. Mine did not come with a cover like everyone else's, so laying on it is very hot. I also thought it would be fuller and a lot more firm than what it is. I wish someone could just point me in the direction of the body pillow I'm searching for.
