I ordered this as my first luxury bedding item. I am on a super tight budget but my guy has all silk bedding. Never thought I would like them... I am a strictly flannel and jersey knit kind of girl!When using silk pillow cases my hair is not nearly as frizzy (less friction than cotton), my skin is less oily in the morning and my eye lashes (I have natural extensions) seem to stay in proper placement longer (again due to less friction).
I only currently have the one pillow case but plan on buying three more to round out bed.'
I am not a huge fan of silk sheets though. They hold too much heat and with a dog who prefers to sleep with me, I do not like the snags.
