Satin Sheet Sets - Set of 2 Standard Pillowcases

I bought a set of these in lavender and another set in gold. After I purchased them but before they were delivered, I read some mighty negative reviews about Carol Wright Gifts, and started to regret my purchase. The main complaint appeared to be that the quality of CWG products was subpar--as was their customer service in some cases. However, my order arrived quickly, and the pillowcases appeared to be worth at least what I paid for them.

The cons:

-The satin is one sided, so the outer pillowcase is silky soft, but the inside is rather rough. For me, not a big deal, but just thought I'd give other customers a heads-up.

-The satin is somewhat reminiscent of costume fabric.

-The lavender is more blue than purple. Might not be a problem for some people, but I was mixing and matching shades of purple and gold in my bedroom, and next to the rest of the purple, these cases look blue.

The pros:

-These cases are oh so soft and luxurious to curl up on.

-Five dollars for two satin cases, when most competitors charge (at least) twice that for one?!

-Satin pillowcases, if regularly laundered, are great for your hair and skin.

I've had these for about a month or so now and I really like them. I usually sleep with a satin bonnet or scarf on at night and with these pillowcases I am not as anxious if I forget to put it on before bed. These help to keep my hair from getting super dried out and frizzy in the middle of the night.

The pillowcases that I ordered are wonderful!! They are so soft and smooth. I have a hard time getting to sleep so I have used the pillowcases to help me relax more and feel more comfortable. They help me to feel more relaxed and cozy. No more hard stiff cotton for me. I am addicted to my satin pillowcases. Love them!!

Great price & so far it works for me! I've never bought satin pillowcases before but i've heard theyre good for black hair. I sleep on them every night & usually at this point i'd have a million & a half split ends if I were still sleeping on cotton. But my hair's doing great :)

For $5 you get not just one but TWO? Perfect. I bought lavender & the color is really pretty. I'm about to invest in a blue.

I bought just the pillowcases as I heard satin was good for hair. They arrived on time and didn't feel cheap at all. However, i use two pillows with one on the top of the other and the fabric is so slippery they slip of one another all the time which can get annoying. But now I use one satin pillowcase over top of a cotton one so it's not as much of a problem. Great buy!
