SensorPEDIC Memory Loft Deluxe Bed Topper

I was looking for a mattress pad to put on my existing memory foam mattress. I'm not happy with how my mattress has "conformed" to my body and needed something with a bit more comfort than the valley that forms after you lay on it for awhile. I saw this mattress topper and thought...this is it! It looked fantastic as it's part memory foam and part loft fiber. It looked especially cushy and that was what I was looking for. I hesitated for a little while because it didn't have any reviews and was a little expensive, but finally decided to buy it.

Did it live up to what it looks like in the photo? Not exactly, it looks more like a baffled featherbed, not like a pillowtop as it appears in the photo, but it's thick and fit well on my mattress. It has elastic bands that tuck under the edges of the mattress, so I did that, then just put the mattress pad over the top. The first night I slept on it...how can I describe it..soft as a cloud? It was very comfortable. It helped fill in the 'valley' that my memory foam mattress makes after you lay on it for awhile. I imagine if you have a somewhat hard mattress and are thinking of replacing it for that reason, that this topper would be your solution. It makes a hard mattress seem like it has a nice pillow top on it. I am happy that I purchased it. I would have given it a 5 instead of a 4 except that it wasn't as puffy in real life as it was in the photo. I expected it to be more like that. It is comfortable though and I don't regret getting it.

I was so excited to get my topper especially since I waited three weeks for it. After 2 1/2 weeks we are so disappointed with it. It doens't look like the picture. There aren't any sewn squares but long blocks so when you sleep it pushed the insides to each side and you end up in a hole. I thought that this was memory foam and it might be a little but it's mixed with soft lumpy fiber stuff. I have never written a negative review before but I had to on this. I'm hoping I can get it back in the package to ship it back!~

Nothing against the seller, my item arrived very quickly which I was very happy about. It fits perfectly on the mattress as well, unfortunately that's all the positive aspects of this bedding topper. I have had it for less than a week and already it's lumpy and the middle has sunk it. Less than a week! I am looking elsewhere for something that lasts longer than a week.

Also to note: it looks nothing like it does in the picture.

We bought this topper, and as the other reviews note, it is sewn in lines, not boxes; like a baffled comforter. It is nice and cushy, but within two weeks of use we have two "troughs" where we lie and a big high spot in between! If you try to lie outside of the trough, you roll back down into it. I think the memory loft has dementia. don't buy this item!

This mattress topper arrives and unfolds just as it appears in the photo. I had no problem with delivery or packaging. I fluffed it up, gave the topper time to air (couple of hours) and the first night I slept on it...it seemed to just deflate. I have arthritis and am looking for something cushy, yet firm. After less than a week, the topper seemed to lump up in some areas and go down in others. I think this topper would be fine for an older mattress or if you just want an extra layer of cushiness, but if you're sensitive to changes, this may not be for you. I think if I fluffed it everynight...maybe it would be ok, but I'd have to take all the bedding off every night to accomplish this and I don't know if even that would help.
