We were looking for a memory foam mattress that was inexpensive, as we didn't want to shell out a bunch of money not knowing if it would improve our sleep. Found this mattress for literally $20 more than the memory foam topper we were looking for. Very pleased with our purchase! It arrived within 7 business days. Set up was easy, it expanded within 6 hours and we slept on it that night. Odor was minimal, barely noticable in fact. We followed the tip on the package insert and placed a cup of vinegar on the nightstand next to the bed. This is an amazing value for this product and bed has never felt so delicious! Would recommend this mattress to anyone with back issues, pressure point pain, etc. It has just the right amount of firmness, yet the memory foam layer cushions and cradles just the right amount. I am a stomach sleeper and would wake up with my back "locked" on our previous mattress, a firm pillow top. With this mattress, I can sleep in literally any position and wake up pain free. If you are considering a Tempurpedic or similar brand, but have never used a memory foam mattress, I encourage you to give this one a try. The warranty is nice, as well as the in-home trial, but honestly if we wear this out in 2 years (the warranty for ours was 5 years), I would still feel like we got our money's worth.

Although I've been an amazon member for many years, this is actually the first review that I have decided to take the time to write. I felt compelled to express my extreme satisfaction with this purchase. Honestly, I have never felt a mattress so comfortable. Previously, I had slept on a king size pillow top mattress with a memory foam topper for about six years, but after hearing other people rave about memory foam mattresses, I decided to switch to this queen size 8 inch thick, 4 lb. density visco elastic memory foam bed and am so happy that I did. My husband and I have slept on it for 30 days now and have gotten the best sleep! It's soft, yet suports our entire bodies perfectly. It is a noticeable difference of increased comfort. I can honestly say that we both look forward to going to sleep every night on this memory foam mattress. Also, I do not feel my husband get out of bed in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. It's just perfect for us.

TIPS:

Density This is my first time owning a memory foam mattress. I searched for several months before making this purchase and saw other memory foam mattresses that advertised how thick they were but failed to mention the density of the mattress. How dense the memory foam is makes a big difference. So pay attention to the density of the memory foam.

Bed Base DO NOT put this mattress on a boxspring. Put it on a flat surface, like a layer of plywood. That's what the instructions said and they are right. The plywood gives the foam mattress the full support it needs and it is surprisingly very comfortable.

Scent There is a light scent of foam when you first take it out of the bag, so extend the mattress and let it air out for 3-4 full days. That seemed to eliminate most of the scent.

PROS:

Customer service The company sent me a postcard in the mail expressing their thanks and letting me know that they were available to help with any of my questions or concerns. I found their postcard very personable.

Sleep! My husband and I love love love this mattress. We love how it hugs our bodies and supports them very well. I also love that I can sleep on it on my side, on my back, and flat on my stomach, and still sleep comfortably.

Price The price is unbeatable for the quality of this mattress. I still can't believe how affordable it is, I ended up paying about $200 after applying a promotional discount.

Quality It's made in the USA and it's environmentally friendly.

CONS:

Can't think of any right now. I plan on updating my review after sleeping on the mattress for 1 full year to see if I'm still satisfied.

Overall, it's a great mattress super comfortable, quiet, soft yet firm, and at such a low price! It's a great deal.

This did not have a strong smell when it arrived as some have said. You could smell the foam smell if you put your nose right up to it. It feels a little firmer than I thought it would be but once you lay on it, it seems very comfortable. I bought it for a top bunk and the 8" depth is just right for it. I would recommend this product and may go back to buy a full size for the bottom bunk as well.

This product is great! I've had it for almost two weeks and so far I love it! I unrolled it right in my bedroom. It expanded to almost full size very quickly, within about 10 minutes and got the rest of the way in an hour. There was a slight odor, but it wasn't terrible and was really only strong if you put your nose right up to it. I just turned on the overhead fan and opened the window for a couple hours, tossed the sheets on and slept on it that night. It was great! It definitely feels different than an inner spring. I prefer a firmer matress but want something I can sink into a bit as well and this is perfect for that. The foam base is nice and firm and the memory foam allows you to sink in and be cushioned just where you need it.

The only problem is that whereas I never used to hit snooze before I do now because I just don't want to get out of bed! I recommend it to everyone I know.

I love my new bed!!! I've been looking on here for months comparing and contrasting the various options and am very glad I purchased this one. A family member had purchased the same one almost a year ago and has loved it ever since. When I started looking for a new mattress, she suggested this one and I am so glad for the recommendation! The box was HUGE and a bit difficult to get in the house, but as soon as I got it into my room and out of the packaging it was pretty easy to handle and get in place (all by myself I might add!).
