Embrace Sleep Collar Travel Pillow

I love this neck collar. I travel a lot on cross country flights and I put this thing on and it doesn't take me long at all to fall fast asleep. People sitting next to me frequently ask about it since they said I looked so comfortable sleeping. Once I took it off since I was done sleeping and then a while later I was tired and figured I would just try to sleep without the collar and I realized how difficult it was to get my neck comfortable once I started nodding off. It made me realize just how much better I did sleep with it on while on the flight. I highly recommend it. I have tried many neck and travel pillows and none of them have supported my head and neck so I could sleep comfortably like this one.

I bought this product because I wanted neck support for long trips but I did not like the reviews for the Komfort Kollar, since it looked too bulky, hot and too full in the back. I think this solved most of those issues. It is not very big, definately gives you support on the front of your neck, and about even support on the sides of your neck as other travel pillows, maybe somewhat better. It velcros in the back and is comfortable to lie against. I found it more comfortable to use it somewhat reclined rather than lying down, although on their website some state that they wear it every night to help with snoring.

The fabric covering is not sweaty or uncomfortable.

My best advice would be to use it in conjunction with a small airplane sized pillow to support the side of your head, since you can still move your head side to side probably too far to spend a whole night in comfort.

This product is a little different than the other travel "pillows" on the market. Because the collar supported my head in the front and on the sides, my head would not flop forward or sideways. This allowed me to completely relax my neck muscles and fall asleep within minutes. The Embrace Sleep Collar Travel Pillow is very light and easily fits into a carry-on bag. Good idea, but the length is too short to hold my head up. Once my head starts tilting forward, the brace does not have the firmness to the head up. It just collapses, since it is foam. There is a small band of plastic that gives it some rigidity, but that band is only a couple inches tall.

Just got back from a trip with two 14-hour legs...I slept for a good 6 hours both ways thanks to the Embrace Sleep Collar. After trying nearly everything on the market (inflatable, non-inflatable, beans, buckwheat, you name it) this product is the one for me, and here's why I love it:

The Embrace measures 3" high, so if you are lucky enough to have a neck like a swan, it may not be high enough for you.
