Foamex Aerus Natural TM Memory Foam Contour Pillow

Since I've always slept fairly well, I wasn't prepared for the dramatic improvement this pillow has made. Caring for critters sometimes interrupts my sleep, and though I'd usually drift off again, I wouldn't awaken with freshly interrupted dreams! Now when I wake, I'm aware of having slept deeply and remember vivid details of a dream.

The pillow is firmer in comparison to contours I've purchased, but after slightly warming, the foam cradles my neck and bears the weight of my head comfortably. A rear-end crash years ago requires I use a contour pillow, and this pillow gives options for shorter and longer necks. The flat side of the pillow is also comfortable and may be slightly cooler for summertime.

I've slept on Tempurpedic and haven't been impressed, so I'm delighted at the comfort and lower cost of the Aerus.

The pillow cover is not the quality of others I've used, but it serves its purpose.

My wife took my Tempurapedic pillow. So I needed a new one. I bought a cheap $20 one from Walmart. It just wasn't the same. So I researched memory foam pillows and apparently Tempurapedic is 4.5 pounds / sq inch. This density gives the nice support my cheaper pillow simply does not have. So I found this Foamex pillow has a 4 lbs/sq inch so I bought it. I found I actually prefer this pillow because it's 2 ends have differing heights and the pillow is tall enough that they don't affect each other, unlike the Tempurapedic. This way if I want to sleep on my back I can use the lower side, and if I want to sleep on my side I can use the taller side. All in all this pillow gave me exactly what I was looking for for a significantly lower price.

I bought this pillow a year ago for myself and when I first recieved it, it was really stiff. After about a week of getting used to it or it breaking in (not sure which is true); it's the best sleep I've ever gotten! I take this pillow where ever I go because nothing I sleep on allows me to sleep as well! I just bought two more one for a present and one for my fiance. I hope they enjoy it as much as I have.

This is one GREAT pillow and for a GREAT price too!!!

I have been sleeping on my Tempurpedic pillow for the past 8 years and this one is much more comfortable (after you have laid on it for about five minutes). No noticeable smell. No wonder all the reviews are five stars-eh!!
