Horizons Collection Micro-Fleece Plush Blanket

I ordered this blanket just as a warm cozy blankie to have on my bed or couch. I really love it now but at first I was a little disappointed. You must, must, must wash this blanket atleast 3 times before use. Otherwise you will have little fuzzies all over you, and all over the area it is placed. Now it is the only blanket I sleep with and I adore it. Still the occational fuzzies, but all around I'd recommend it to another :)

I bought this for my daughter's camp cabin. It gets cold there at night, down to 50 degrees. This blanket is very warm and big enough (twin size) for her to cuddle up with. When I first received it, I was surprised by just how soft it is. I also think the pictures don't do it justice. The colors are really pretty.

First let me say, I really really wanted to like this blanket. It's super soft and much warmer than it seems. However, I do not think any customer should have to jump through the hoops you are pretty much REQUIRED to do just to get this thing to function at an acceptable level.

I read through all the reviews and I was expecting a certain degree of fuzziness to take care of. What I got was an absolute disaster though. I washed and dried this thing 4 times, I then even read some guides online that said if you put a tennis ball in the dryer with the blanket, it will knock the fuzzies off... which it did. However after 2 more cycles in the dryer with tennis balls, there were STILL tons of fuzzies on it! I then took it out and sat there with it just pulling fuzzies off by hand and with duck tape before I realized how ridiculous it was and just returned it.

In conclusion, this blanket is super soft and I have no doubt it would be awesome if you make it through this awful "de-fuzzing" process. However, I just don't see it being worth your time, at least it wasn't for me.

This blanket is really soft & I like the shaded coloring. It's a little warmer than it looks; however I wouldn't say it was all that warm. It wouldn't be enough to be the only blanket on a bed during the winter unless the bedroom is on the warm side, in my opinion. I suggest making the bed with both this & a warmer blanket, so you can use either or both as needed.

Based on the picture it doesn't look too bad, but when you actually get it and use it, wow is it ugly!

Besides the strange colors and pattern, it's soft, substantial, and warm. If they had a non-ugly version I would buy another!
