A regular pillow case fits well, so a cover is not necessary for this. However, this body positioner is hard. When I lean on it, it just moves away from me (my bed is not against any walls so I cannot put it against anything). I wish it was more of a memory foam type material so it conformed to my body & it would stay put. Otherwise, I don't find any use for it.

This is a great product and serves its purpose well. Got one for my dad when he became bed bound. We had been stuffing pillows behind him and he would just roll over them. I used this one and he instantly noticed the difference. The firmness was just right and the size is good. It is large enough to hold its position. Worth its weight in gold.
