My 18 month old daughter likes it. Its a little strange looking but cuddly. I like the fact thats its big even though the head is disproportionate to the body.

My daughter was given a large (child sized) Dora doll when she turned one. She is now 7-1/2, and her Dora though looking long in the tooth and being repaired) is still around, I even wash her (though not recommended) and the thing just lives on and on.

Last year we had the chance to spend quite a bit of time with my Grand Niece and she spent most of it trying to steal "Big Dowa" away from my daughter. So, of course, I had to pick her up her own for Christmas.

This Dora is slightly smaller than the one we have, but is twice as cushy and thick. This Dora also survived a machine washing (front-loader, air dry) and looks to be a quality made toy.

GN was THRILLED, so thrilled she actually said my name for the first time! (she's 1-1/2).
