This is a nice, soft neck pillow. It's not going to do much for a toddler/preschooler in a booster seat unless you are prepared with another pillow or something for leaning up against the window/door, but this is clearly not designed for a full body lean. For the price, it's a perfectly nice neck pillow for the car.

My grandson loved this so much that he refused to leave it in the car and takes it to bed with him.
