These sheets were a Christmas gift for my boyfriend who had never owned

flannel sheets. He's more of a 1,000TC Egyptian Cotton guy.

However, his Master bedroom is situation over the garage and

can get frigid in our Chicago winters. He raved about these--not only the warmth but the soft & cozy material. He kept "the flannels" on the bed until May. He noticed they always washed well and only had substantial lint build up in the dryer for the initial laundering. I have a set in white and leave them on year-round. We BOTH love these sheets!

Have been to several local name brand stores who claimed to have what I needed Super Queen sheet sets, but they were only super color, super quality, super sale item. My bed is not the standard queen size, it's a Supee Queen or some call it a Calif Queen. Searching Amazon I found what I was looking for it promptly came and we are happy with our purchase. First time for me buying something from viewing a photo.

These are NOT high count sheets at all! They are paper thin. You can see the light shine through them when you hold them up to the light. The thread count would be much densier to achieve the high count they are claiming.

Not only are they NOT the thread count claimed, but the seams were coming unraveled in the package! I had yards of thread and strings that I sniped off of the way around the sheets. True high quality sheets are not packaged without being cleaned up first. I have bought better sheets at WalMart. The shipping reciept that came in the box STRONGLY encourages you to resovle disputes before posting bad reviews on Amazon this why you do not see "true" reviews being listed. I was offered a "20% partial refund to keep them". It outweighted the cost of the hassle and cost of reshipping so I accepted but I never saw the refund posted.

When I took the time to cut the hanging threads and wash them the sage color faded in spots. I own several high end sheets sets and NONE of them have done this. Royal is a scam and their price is Way to good to be true. Be warned!
